Project Snuggle
Scholarship Program in Partnership with UHCL
Bay Area Turning Point
| Provides monthly child care for children in residence at a local battered women's shelter. A project of Assisteens. |
Bingo for Seniors
| Assisteens interact with seniors, play bingo and award small prizes. |
CAPS for Cancer
| Assisteens decorate new caps and provide them to cancer patients residing temporarily at Ronald McDonald House. |
Community Outreach
| Provides the means for chapter to respond with goods or services to community needs on a one-time or short-term basis. |
Hands from the Heart
| Monthly social visits with the elderly at a convalescent center to give residents simple manicures and hand massages while interacting with them socially. |
Operation School Bell®
| Provides clothing, shoes, and hygiene kits to over 1100 school-age students in Clear Creek ISD, Dickinson ISD, La Porte ISD, and Friendswood ISD. |
Operation School Bell® Support
| Assisteens shop for clothing and assemble hygiene kits to be distributed through Operation School Bell. |
Partnership w/Communities in Schools-Bay Area Inc.
| Provides a variety of support services to at-risk students. |
Project Snuggle
| Provides a new, cozy blanket to children in residence at Bay Area Turning Point shelter. A program of Assisteens. |
Scholarship Program in Partnership with UHCL
| Scholarship Program in Partnership with UHCL provides scholarship money for students who would like to attend summer programs at the University of Houston at Clear Lake but need financial assistance. |
