AboutUs-BannerClose.jpg

Assistance League of the Bay Area is a chapter of National Assistance League® which was founded in 1935.

Assistance League of the Bay Area is a nonprofit philanthropic organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Bay Area by providing services, education and financial aid to at-risk populations, including children and the elderly.

Our chapter is dedicated to the purpose of the founders of National Assistance League: To act as a friend at all times to men, women and children in need of care, guidance and assistance, spiritually, materially and physically.

Today, we have over 200 members who volunteer in the Bay Area. In addition we have a very active Assisteens® Auxiliary composed of male and female high school students. Assisteens design and implement their own philanthropic projects, as well as provide support to Assistance League of the Bay Area with our various projects.

Assistance League of the Bay Area is making a difference in our community.
